This is a three-day, comprehensive CME program offering interactive, didactic, evidence-based, learning for Otolaryngologists and Allergists. This course intends to embrace and analyze challenges and controversies associated with sino-nasal and allergic disorders. It also offers a hands-on cadaver laboratory dissection for those Otolaryngologists interested in honoring or expanding their endoscopic surgery skills.

The initial day of lectures is conjoined for all registrants and on days two and three, medical and surgical Rhinology presentations are offered in separate but adjoining auditoria. This unique format permits the most comprehensive rhinology program of its kind. Otolaryngologists can sign up for either one or two sessions with “hands-on” endoscopic fresh cadaver dissection.

Our internationally renowned, multispecialty course faculty are comprised predominantly of Otolaryngologists as well as Allergists/Immunologists. Specialty specific presentations are also given by thought-leaders in Gastroenterology, Neurology, Plastic Surgery and Skull Base Surgery.

Medical rhinology will include: comprehensive pathophysiology and management of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), inhalant allergy care (RAST vs. skin testing, monoallergen vs. multiallergen immunotherapy, SCIT vs. SLIT), fungal rhinosinusitis, role of microbiology in rhinosinusitis, recurring acute rhinosinusitis, headache & the sinus patient, extra-esophageal reflux, auto-immune disease, asthma, olfaction and management of rhinologic conditions in pregnancy.

Surgical rhinology will include: relevant nasal and sinus anatomy, physiology, frontal sinus surgery, balloon sinus dilation, advanced techniques of the orbit & skull base, complications & surgery, surgery of Eustachian tube orifice & vidian nerve, surgical indications for CRS, as well as neoplasia – benign & malignant.
